Abstract
► Phase-field model has been developed to simulate athermal β → ω transformation. ► The thermodynamic database of ω transformation in Zr-Nb alloy is established. ► The simulations predicted the shape of athermal ω phase upon different conditions. ► Four ω variants align along the four 〈1 1 1〉 directions are nicely simulated. ► Various applied stresses result from different variants selection.
