Abstract

âº Mechanical response of few-layer graphene (FLG) is studied by MD simulations. âº Elastic modulus and strength decrease by in increasing the number of layers. âº Predicted elastic modulus of bulk graphite by MD is close to experimental range. âº Our simulations show that FLGs present brittle behavior.
