Abstract
⺠A three-dimensional finite element model for laser micro-sintering is put forward. ⺠In this model, the ANSYS μMKS system of units is adopted for finite element analysis. ⺠Also in combination with transition from powder to solid make model more accurate. ⺠Effects of process parameters on temperature and molten pool dimensions are examined. ⺠The center of molten pool is observed to shift slightly during the laser multi-track.
