Abstract
► Recrystallization during annealing subsequent to hot deformation was modeled. ► Grain boundary (GB) and particle stimulated nucleation (PSN) were considered. ► Pinning effect of dispersoids on recrystallization inhibition was incorporated. ► The general Monte Carlo approach was inconvenient for incorporating the effect. ► The pinning effect was incorporated into the Monte Carlo model using a new approach.
