Abstract
► We model a 3D representative volume element of a polymeric porous material. ► We performed a D-optimal design of experiment campaign with seven variables. ► We estimate the influence of the variables on void growth, global stress and strain. ► Stress triaxiality and plastic strain at failure are the most influential variables. ► We provide design equations to estimate the outputs for a wide range of materials.
