Abstract
► The applied heat pulse produces several wave packets which propagate with speed of acoustic phonons and second sound wave. ► It was observed that the propagation speed of wave packets increases with increasing nanotube diameter. ► The decrease in bond length with increasing nanotube diameter is responsible for the increase in speed of wave packets.
