Abstract

We present a method for calculating demagnetization interaction in micromagnetic simulations for two-dimensional periodic boundary conditions without any range cutoff. The method was implemented in a full micromagnetic package by recombining the demagnetization tensors in real space which need to be computed only once at the beginning of the simulations. The errors of redefined demagnetization tensors are approximated allowing to estimate the accuracy of final results.
