Abstract
⺠Friction has a quantifiable effect on the localised deformation. ⺠Compression rate has a quantifiable effect on the localised deformation. ⺠When the compression degree is large, the localised deformation could even reduce. ⺠Increasing friction causes the shear stress region to move outwards. ⺠Likelihood of fracture tendency when friction and compression rate increase.
