Abstract
A rectangular shifting cloak constructed with non-singular homogeneous materials is proposed. An object cloaked by this cloak is visually shifted to a distance, which can be arbitrarily tuned from zero to infinity in principle. Moreover, this rectangular shifting cloak is easy to implement as it is constructed with only four blocks of accessible homogeneous materials without singularity. The results of numerical full-wave simulations confirm that the as-designed shifting cloak works effectively and does not rely on the properties of the object to be cloaked.
