Abstract
Synthesized chitosan benzoyl thiourea derivative has been used effectively for the adsorption of Nd(III) and Pr(III) rare earth elements from aqueous solutions. The adsorbitivity of these elements has been studied with applying different parameters such as contact time variation, ion concentration, variation of pH and equilibrium concentration. Freundlich, Langmuir, Lagergren and Morris–Webber isotherm models were applied to the experimented data. All the parameters and the constants of the abovementioned isotherms are calculated.
