Abstract
⺠Temperature or time was the main factors of controlling braze joint strength. ⺠Developing a Widmanstätten microstructure generates equal strength to base metal. ⺠Brittle intermetallic compounds like (Ti,Zr)2Ni/Cu deteriorate shear strength. ⺠Ti and Zr base filler alloys were the best choice for brazing Ti-6Al-4V.
