Abstract
⺠Modification effect of Al-30Zn-5Zr-1B master alloy on ZnAl4Y alloy was investigated. ⺠After modification, the morphology of primary phase of ZnAl4Y alloy varied greatly. ⺠The primary α-Al phase occurred in hypoeutectic ZnAl4Y alloy after modification. ⺠Mechanical properties of the modified ZnAl4Y alloy were enhanced considerably.
