Abstract
⺠We have proposed a facile method to measure precipitate volume fractions for precipitation-hardened metals. ⺠This technique works well for the square-shaped θâ²-phase nano-precipitates in 2xxx aluminum alloys. ⺠Interesting is that the proposed method is easy for materials scientists and engineers to perform.
