Abstract
⺠Elemental and microstructural characterisation of archaeological copper-based alloys. ⺠Identification of novel metallurgy with copper, low tin and leaded bronzes. ⺠Iron contents suggest smelting with strong reducing atmosphere. ⺠High slip bands density and hardness values indicate workhardened artefacts. ⺠Uniform and small grain size evidence skilful usage of forging and annealing cycles.
