Abstract
âºEBSD can differentiate phases in aluminide layer with similar chemical compositions. âºMapping and EBSPs functions in EBSD provide a reliable phase identification. âºA phase transformation in the aluminide layer has been described in detail. âº5 Fe-Al-Si and 4 Fe-Al intermetallic phases are performed during the diffusion. âºCubic Ï5(C)-Al7 (Fe,Cr)2Si and hexagonal Ï5(H)-Al7(Fe,Cr)2Si are identified.
