âºThe microstructure of the aged TZN consists of α phase in β matrix. âºAddition of boron to TZN leads to the formation of dispersed acicular TiB. âºPresence of TiB deteriorates the fatigue strength of TZN alloy. âºFatigue strength of aged TZN/TZNB alloys is comparable with biomedical Ti-alloys.
