Abstract
This paper reports on microstructural degradation by aging and creep, specifically with different B and N content in modified 9Cr-2W steels. This study used TEM to examine the growth and generation of precipitates across chemical composition changes resulting from aging and creep. The coarsening of precipitates, mainly M23C6, was evaluated during aging and creep, and the role of B and N on microstructural change during aging and creep was investigated.
