Abstract
The dynamic mechanical behaviors of 2519A-T9I6 and 7039 have been investigated by the split Hopkinson bar at strain rate ranging from 1020 to 5130Â sâ1. 2519A-T9I6 has higher absorption energy ability and lower adiabatic shear susceptibility than 7039 alloy, which enable the alloy exhibit excellent dynamic response at high strain rate.
