Abstract
												The effect of electroplastic-differential speed rolling (EDSR) on manufacturing thin Mg-3Al-1Zn magnesium alloy strip has been investigated. The strips were cold rolled at room temperature with 8% reduction per pass by symmetrical electroplastic rolling (ER) and EDSR. The ductility of rolled strip is significantly enhanced by EDSR, with an acceptable decrease of tensile strength compared to the strip by ER, which may be attributed to the fully dynamic recrystallization (DRX) and tilted basal poles in the EDSR sample.
