Abstract
Recently, a dislocation model that relates minimum grain size, dmin, obtainable in metals by ball milling to several physical parameters was developed and also applied to high-pressure torsion. In this paper, the model is extended to dmin obtainable by equal channel angular pressing (ECAP), another severe plastic deformation (SPD) process.
