Effect of mode of deformation by rolling on texture evolution and yield locus anisotropy in a multifunctional β titanium alloy

► Evolution of texture has been investigated in a multifunctional β titanium alloy. ► Cold rolled specimens exhibit the presence of β and small amount of α″ phases. ► Different modes of rolling results in changes in intensities of the α fibre. ► The overall intensities of γ fibre reduces with increase in cold rolling reduction. ► All the modes of rolling introduce texture hardening.
