Abstract
⺠A HPT processing at 100 °C can provide the smallest average grain size in an Al alloy. ⺠The grain refinement is due to the enhanced segregation of solutes at gain boundaries. ⺠Optimising HPT processing temperature is a key to enhance the grain refinement.
