Abstract
⺠First study to join C/C composites using Ti-Ni-Si compound. ⺠The average joint shear strength can reach up to 23.58 MPa. ⺠Strong joints are apt to fracture through interlayer, interfaces and C/C matrix. ⺠Phase compositions in joints are varied with increasing joining temperature.
