Abstract
► The Re addition to the alloy resulted in the age hardening effect due to the Re-rich precipitations. ► Simultaneous addition of Re and Ta to the alloy maximizes the age hardening. ► The observed precipitates were determined to be bcc solid solution consisting of Re, V and Ni.
