Abstract
⺠Subsurface deformation zone of a Zr-based BMG was examined at different temperatures. ⺠Inter-band spacing increases with increase in temperature. ⺠Shear band mediated plastic zone remains invariant with temperature. ⺠Contribution of homogeneous deformation to the total deformation increases with temperature. ⺠The increased contribution of homogeneous deformation is the reason for increase in pressure sensitivity of BMGs.
