Abstract
► Effect of changing cool deformation temperature on microalloyed steels is studied. ► Cool deformation at 400 °C gives the maximum flow stress in low cooling rate. ► Cool deformation at 350 °C gives the maximum flow stress in high cooling rate. ► Strain induced transformation of retained austenite increases the strength the most. ► Work hardening rate substantially decreases for cool deformation below 500 °C.
