Abstract
⺠Effect of changing cool deformation temperature on microalloyed steels is studied. ⺠Cool deformation at 400 °C gives the maximum flow stress in low cooling rate. ⺠Cool deformation at 350 °C gives the maximum flow stress in high cooling rate. ⺠Strain induced transformation of retained austenite increases the strength the most. ⺠Work hardening rate substantially decreases for cool deformation below 500 °C.
