Abstract
⺠Whole-life transformation ratchetting depends on load level and mode. ⺠Shakedown of transformation ratchetting occurs after certain cycles. ⺠Dissipated energy decreases quickly during the cyclic loading. ⺠Transformation ratchetting shortens the fatigue life apparently. ⺠Fatigue life decreases greatly with the increasing dissipated energy.
