Abstract
⺠We use three different polyethylenes of different molecular structures. ⺠We measure their density and crystallinity as characterization purpose. ⺠We examine their dynamic compression characteristic under high strain rate loading. ⺠Molecular structure of polyethylene affects its compressive properties. ⺠Proposed models give reliable and good interpretation of the experimental results.
