Abstract
⺠ISM process is feasible to fabricate high-quality in situ TiB2/TiAl composite. ⺠The morphologies and growth mechanism of TiB2 crystals were investigated. ⺠Current TiB2/TiAl composite has much better tensile properties than its matrix.
