Abstract
⺠In situ fine TiC particles reinforced 304 stainless steel with excellent performance was prepared by electro-slag remelting (ESR). ⺠Applying the ESR process eliminated the TiC particles aggregation and refined the TiC particles with a more uniform distribution. ⺠Nano-scale TiC particles are helpful to improve the creep properties of TiC particles reinforced 304 stainless steel.
