Abstract
⺠A390/Al2O3 and A390/graphite surface composites were fabricated using FSP. ⺠The effect of tool rotation and welding speeds on the microstructural characteristics of the surface composites was examined using optical microscopes. ⺠The hardness of the surface composites was measured. ⺠The wear performance of the surface composites was investigated and the worn surface of the surface composites was examined using SEM.
