Abstract
⺠Brazing TiAl to Si3N4 was realized using AgCu inactive filler alloy. ⺠Dissolved Ti activated AgCu filler alloy and reacted with Si3N4. ⺠Tiny Al3V intermetallics as nucleation sites led to the dispersed distribution of AlCu2Ti phase, which improved the joints properties. ⺠Interfacial microstructure of joint was B2 phase/AlCuTi/AlCu2Ti/Ag(s,s) + AlCu2Ti/TiN + Ti5Si3.
