Abstract
⺠Foams with mean pore aspect ratios of 1, 2 and 4 were produced. ⺠Structure-property relationship via X-ray microtomography and mechanical testing. ⺠Foam strength inversely proportional to cell aspect ratio although randomly oriented. ⺠Anisotropy and strain-rate sensitivity more pronounced in high aspect ratio pored foams.
