Abstract
Nanocrystalline nickel was electrodeposited by combining with the simultaneous polishing of free particles. The polishing could strengthen the nickel deposition by affecting the structure of the deposits and refining grains. Nickel deposition with grain size of 30–80 nm and tensile strength of about 1400 MPa was achieved.
