Abstract
â¶ (Ti0.93W0.07)C-xWC-20Ni cermets have a uniform microstructure compared to conventional cermets. â¶ As increasing WC addition, the carbide particle size is decreased. â¶ Comparing to conventional Ti(CN)-based cermets, the solid solution cermets show superior hardness and toughness.
