Abstract
⺠Sub-grains are formed during the ratchetting deformation. ⺠Sub-grains are formed by the re-arrangement of dislocation. ⺠Re-arrangement of dislocation results in a constant ratchetting rate. ⺠New dislocation slip will occur inside the formed sub-grains.
