Abstract
▶ Rupture strength of DMS4M is superior to that of CMSX4 alloy, and comparable to that of CMSX10. ▶ Near-〈0 0 1〉 oriented samples show higher rupture-life and ductility than near-〈0 1 1〉 samples. ▶ Rafts occur at ∼90° and ∼45° to stress axis in near-〈0 0 1〉 and 〈0 1 1〉 oriented samples, respectively. ▶ Average raft thickness and rupture life decreases with increasing stress. ▶ Both directional coarsening and TCP phase formation increase with applied stress.
