Abstract
ⶠReserach highlights ⶠThe effects of nitrogen doping on microstructural evolution have been investigated. ⶠNitrogen doping improved the cold workability of this alloy system. ⶠInitiation of edge cracks was observed for a 30% cold rolling reduction in the alloy. ⶠThe primary deformation mechanism is the strain-induced martensitic transformation. ⶠThe SIMT is responsible for the limited cold workability of the alloys.
