Abstract
⺠Hot working behavior of Ti60 alloy was characterized by isothermal compression tests. ⺠Flow stress of Ti60 decreased with increasing temperature and decreasing strain rate. ⺠Greater flow softening was observed in the α + β field compared with that of β field. ⺠The activation energy was 653 and 183 kJ/mol for α + β and β field, respectively. ⺠Two instable fields should be avoided during the deformation of Ti60 alloy.
