Abstract
The creep behavior of neat bisphenol E cyanate ester (BECy) and a BECy/alumina nanocomposite was studied through tensile creep testing by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The tensile creep compliance was measured at isothermal conditions between 190 and 320 °C at 10 °C intervals. The long-term creep behavior in a high-temperature environment was predicted by time–temperature superposition (TTS). In the same manner, the frequency dependent dynamic properties of neat BECy and the BECy/alumina nanocomposite were also evaluated.
