Abstract
ⶠWhen the number of ARB cycles increased, the uniformity of alumina particles in the copper matrix and bonding quality between alumina and copper improved. ⶠCopper/alumina composite exhibited a higher tensile strength than the annealed and ARBed pure copper strips. ⶠThe tensile strength and elongation of the composites improved, when the number of cycles increased. ⶠThe produced MMC exhibited a higher hardness than the annealed and ARBed pure copper strips.
