Abstract
▶ High temperature tensile and wear studies up to 300 °C. ▶ Brittle to ductile failure mode transition takes place at a temperature of beyond 200 °C. ▶ During the sliding wear testing, the alloy pin sample is squeezed out from the disc at an operating temperature of 300 °C. ▶ Wear rate of the alloy is decreased due to oxidative wear mechanism is dominated after 150 °C during sliding.
