Abstract
ⶠThis work evaluated the capacity of a CuAlBe alloy to absorb energy until rupture. ⶠThe V-notch Charpy test was adopted at â150, â100, â50, 0, 50, 100 and 150 °C. ⶠCharpy tests were complemented by DSC, DSC with optical microscope and by SEM. ⶠFirst work to analyze the toughness of a CuAlBe alloy based on the Charpy test. ⶠThe results are of relevant value to enhance the understanding of the CuAlBe alloy.
