Abstract
▶ The most important feature of the deformation texture in ARB-processed aluminum is the significant strengthening of the Dillamore and Copper components. ▶ Generally, all samples show strong β-fiber textures with a preference for the Copper orientation. ▶ Meanwhile, proceeding ARB cycles decreases the intensity of the Goss component in the processed samples. ▶ Furthermore, when the number of cycles increases, the fraction of grains with sharp high angle boundaries increases, too.
