Abstract
Severe cold rolling of a single sheet of a Ti + Nb IF steel at room temperature can produce nano- to ultrafine sized grains. Continuous decrease in dislocation cell size and transformation of cell walls to grain boundary structure due to high energy of the cell walls have been suggested to be the possible reasons for this.
