Abstract
Three lignin-based carbon films were fabricated relating to the lignin amount about 8, 14 and 20%, respectively. SEM photographs showed that the role of lignin played in this case is not only a precursor but also a pore size dominator. This is because that the presented pores are obviously in micro- and nano-meter sizes related to the variety of lignin amount. Additionally, the variety of lignin content has been also found evidently to influence the adsorption and resistance properties of carbon films.
