Abstract
The evolution of electrical resistivity during the aging of aluminum alloy AA6111 has been measured over a wide range of annealing temperatures. From these measurements, the solubility product for the Q phase in aluminum has been proposed and using a new approach, the contribution of precipitates to the overall resistivity is quantified.
