Abstract
⺠The strain-rate sensitivity (R) of composite increased with the increasing temperature. ⺠TC4 fibres were sheared into several parts at the strain rate of 10â3 Sâ1. ⺠Cracks were produced at the interface between TC4-Al at a strain rate of 10â3 Sâ1. ⺠Interfacial separation of TC4-Al occurred at the strain rate of 1 Sâ1. ⺠Dislocations transmitted to equiaxed recrystals in Al as temperature increases.
