Abstract
We have calculated the dynamical quadrupolar and spin-spin structure factors for the ferroquadrupolar phase, at zero temperature, of the S=1 Heisenberg model with bilinear and biquadratic exchange interactions on the square lattice, using the SU(3) Schwinger boson formalism. The quadrupolar structure factor can, in principle, be measured using resonant inelastic x-ray scattering.
