Abstract
A double borate RbMgBO3 was newly synthesized by solid state reactions and the crystal structure were determined from powder X-ray diffraction data. It crystallizes in cubic space group P213 (a=6.9493(1) Ã
, V=335.60(1) Ã
3, Z=4). RbMgBO3 was melted at 865.5 °C. The existence of only BO3 groups was confirmed by IR analysis. The RbMgBO3 conductivity was measured (10â6â10â5 S/cm).
